This and That

The school year is off to a great start. The 5th grade has kept busy with testing and reviewing prior material. The volleyball team is well into practice with the first game on Thursday August 31 against Meridian.

Blogger Tutorial Using Jing

Jing was a great tool to use and I look forward to using it in the future. I can really see using this as a tool for teaching students computer skills. I know that personally setting up student gmail accounts last year was a tedious process. Now through the use of Jing I will have a video for them to watch while I go around and monitor students. Also, it would be great to use for students who are absent from school and need portions of a lesson taught to them. I only wish I could use more than 5 minutes.
